- Adult Addiction Detox
- Adolescent and Teen Addiction Detox
- Inpatient Addiction Detox
- Outpatient Addiction Detox
- Medically Supervised Detox
ADULT ADDICTION DETOX PROGRAM
The program begins with medical detox from alcohol, prescription drugs, and/or opiates. Our medical team closely supervises patients to ensure their safety and comfort. Withdrawal symptoms can be severe and cause serious complications. Detoxification usually lasts about a week, and then patients are admitted to the rehab center for residential care. This program consists of addiction counseling, group activities, 12-step meetings, and outings. Family therapy is also offered. The residential adult detoxification program lasts 30 to 90 days.
TEEN AND ADOLESCENT ADDICTION DETOX PROGRAMS
The adolescent and teen addiction detox programs begin with medical detox from prescription drugs, heroin, or alcohol. Our medical team will closely monitor your child. This can take up to a week, depending on the severity and length of abuse. Your child will then be admitted to our residential program, which includes addiction counseling, group activities, daily 12-step meetings, recreational activities, and outings. The residential program lasts 30 to 90 days. We also offer a long-term program and a dual-diagnosis program. The Teen Addiction Detox Program is for ages 12-17, and the Adolescent Addiction Detox Program is for younger children.
INPATIENT ADDICTION DETOX PROGRAM
We offer inpatient addiction detox programs for teens and adults. During this phase, patients are closely supervised by a team of doctors and nurses and may be prescribed medications to ease withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is a crucial part of the rehabilitation process, as withdrawal can cause serious complications. The detoxification process can last up to a week, depending on the substance being used and the length of abuse.
OUTPATIENT ADDICTION DETOX PROGRAM
We offer outpatient detox for adults and teens suffering from mild-to-moderate withdrawal symptoms from prescription drugs, opiates, and/or alcohol. It is often more convenient and comfortable for clients to stay at home during this time. Small amounts of prescription drugs are prescribed to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal, and the patient is required to check in with their addiction counselor at least once a day. All clients also attend AA or NA meetings and are regularly screened for drug or alcohol use. The potential for relapse is much higher than in an inpatient program.
MEDICALLY SUPERVISED DETOX PROGRAM
We strongly recommend medical detox to all patients that need it. Sudden withdrawal from alcohol or drugs can cause seizures, strokes, heart attacks, shock, and death. People with a prescription drug, alcohol, or opiate addiction are required to complete medically supervised detox before entering one of our residential programs. We use the most advanced techniques and medications to ensure a safe and comfortable detox process.
